Live Music and Gig Bar Hire That Keeps Pace With the Set List
A gig crowd wants two things from a bar: served fast, and out of the way of the show. We build the whole setup around that, extra staff on for the changeover between acts, positioning that keeps sightlines clear, and a licence that can run past the pub’s normal hours if your night does.
We already do this every week for our own live music nights in Abergavenny, so turning a queue over during a three-minute changeover isn’t something we’re learning on your night. If a gig isn’t quite what you’re planning, see our full range of mobile bar hire options.

Lovely pub wirh a beautiful backyard and they play great music too! I would also never expect any pub in Abergavenny (of all places) to serve the Iron Maiden “Trooper”beer!

We arrived for my friends party and were well looked after and had great fun. Staff are wicked
Codie Hamber
Best pub in the town. Guinness is fantastic and I’m Irish so I know what I’m on about! Friendly owner, staff and locals. Great selection of music on the jukebox too. Proper job
Most booming pub on a Friday and Saturday night. Younger crowd but attracts a vast variety. Got a subtle punk vibe. One of Abergavenny’s most affordable too.

Literally the only place to be in Abergavenny. Amazing staff, incredible atmosphere, fantastic garden and a guaranteed good time whether it’s a Tuesday lunchtime or a Saturday night. Fabulous.

Live Music & Gigs FAQs
Can you run past normal licensing hours for a late gig?
Yes, we’re experienced running events with later finish times, just let us know the schedule when you enquire.
How do you keep service fast during a busy changeover?
We staff up for peak moments specifically, more bar staff on for the changeover between acts than during the set itself.
Do you work directly with venues and promoters?
Yes, we regularly work with local venues and promoters on an ongoing basis, get in touch if you’re after a recurring booking.
Will the bar get in the way of the stage or sound setup?
No, we position the bar to serve the crowd without interfering with sightlines, sound equipment or stage access.
Do you need a licence for a ticketed gig?
Ticketed events where drinks are sold individually usually need a Temporary Event Notice, we handle the licensing side as part of the booking.
Can you cater for an all-ages or non-drinking crowd?
Yes, every booking includes a full soft drinks range alongside the bar.
These are the live music and gig-specific questions, for general booking policies, insurance and logistics that apply to any event, see our full FAQ page.
