Festival Bar Hire Built to Handle the Crowd
Festivals live or die on how fast people can get a drink and get back to what they came for. Our setup is built around volume: extra serving points where the crowd calls for it, generator power for sites with no mains hookup, and a drinks range that holds up whether it’s a field of 200 or a two-day event with thousands through the gate.
This is the same bar we run flat out on a Friday and Saturday night in Abergavenny, just moved outdoors and scaled up. A packed room isn’t new to us, and neither is a festival crowd, we run our own festival, Coach Fest, at the pub every year, so this setup gets tested on our own crowd before it ever turns up at yours. If a festival isn’t quite what you’re planning, see our full range of mobile bar hire options.

Lovely pub wirh a beautiful backyard and they play great music too! I would also never expect any pub in Abergavenny (of all places) to serve the Iron Maiden “Trooper”beer!

Codie Hamber
Best pub in the town. Guinness is fantastic and I’m Irish so I know what I’m on about! Friendly owner, staff and locals. Great selection of music on the jukebox too. Proper job
Most booming pub on a Friday and Saturday night. Younger crowd but attracts a vast variety. Got a subtle punk vibe. One of Abergavenny’s most affordable too.

Literally the only place to be in Abergavenny. Amazing staff, incredible atmosphere, fantastic garden and a guaranteed good time whether it’s a Tuesday lunchtime or a Saturday night. Fabulous.

Festival Bar Hire FAQs
Do you need mains power?
No, we can run entirely on generator power for sites with no mains hookup, just let us know at the planning stage.
What licensing do we need for a ticketed festival?
Public, ticketed events where drinks are sold individually usually need a Temporary Event Notice, or a premises licence for larger or recurring events. We’ll talk you through exactly what applies to your event.
Can you run multiple serving points for a big crowd?
Yes, we scale staffing and serving points to expected footfall so queue times stay reasonable even at peak times.
Do you cover multi-day festivals?
Yes, we can staff and stock across multiple days, with overnight security and storage arrangements agreed in advance.
What happens if it rains?
We come prepared with windbreaks and weatherproofing for outdoor setups, a bit of British weather doesn’t stop the bar running.
How far will you travel for a festival?
Further than our usual radius in most cases. Tell us your site location and we’ll confirm whether it’s workable.
These are the festival-specific questions, for general booking policies, insurance and logistics that apply to any event, see our full FAQ page.
